Matt Asti is a somatic educator, yoga therapist, licensed massage therapist, pianist, and vocalist based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His work is dedicated to helping people connect with the wisdom of their bodies through movement, touch, breath, and sound. Blending ancient practices with contemporary, evidence-based approaches, Matt creates spaces for healing, self-discovery, and authentic expression.

A lifelong musician and educator, Matt’s studies in yoga and music have shaped his approach to teaching and practice. He holds a bachelor’s degree in jazz piano from Leeds Conservatoire and a master’s degree in voice pedagogy from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where his postgraduate voice studies explored children’s voice, spoken voice, motivation theory, Italian opera, acoustics, and Mongolian and Western polyphonic singing. His undergraduate work in England also led to his “Freedom Through Singing” project, which brought free music classes to mental health patients in West Yorkshire.

Matt currently serves as an artist-lecturer in music and yoga at Moravian University, where he also leads yoga teacher training and the yoga and wellness education suite. He is pursuing a doctor of education in transformational leadership at Moravian University, integrating embodied practice, academic rigor, and community-centered wellness.

In his private practice, Matt offers yoga therapy and massage therapy in a supportive, client-centered environment. His approach emphasizes somatic awareness, breath, movement, voice, and touch as pathways toward resilience, integration, and healing.

Matt’s mission is to empower others to listen inward, discover their capacity for transformation, and experience the deep integration of body, mind, spirit, and creative expression.
